Pocket spring

The individual barrel pocketed spring is a collective of barrel-shaped coils each encased in a fabric pocket.  These coils in pockets, unlike the coils in a bonnell spring, are not laced together.  This characteristic allows each coil to operate independently to provide a contoured support that is specific to the user’s body shape.  Another well-known feature of the pocket spring system is its capability to minimize the effect of motion disturbance, which benefits users who share their beds with other individuals.
